About the collective
Meet Dr. Komal Patil-Sisodia
KPS Health Collective began with a simple observation from clinical practice: people make better decisions about their health when they understand it. Too often, the explanation is the part that gets rushed.
Here, education comes first. Every course and tool is built on current evidence, written in plain language, and designed to help you walk into your next appointment with clearer questions.
“Your symptoms, history, and goals all matter. Bring your questions to a clinician who knows your care.”
Komal’s story
It began with something personal
Why Dr. Komal Patil-Sisodia believes women deserve time, context and real answers.
I
Where it began
Dr. Patil-Sisodia’s work began with something personal: watching her mother fight to be fully heard inside a healthcare system not designed around her. The relentless self-advocacy her mother needed just to have her concerns taken seriously never left her.
II
What training revealed
Through training in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at USC’s Keck School of Medicine, and years of clinical practice, she kept noticing the same pattern. Women were often treated, but not always fully believed. Their symptoms were reframed and their hardest questions compressed into minutes.
III
Understanding from the inside
Through infertility, chronic pain and her own midlife hormonal shifts, she understood firsthand what her patients described. Those experiences led her to further certification in Obesity Medicine in 2020 and Menopause Care in 2024.
IV
So she built something different
Care that gives women time, context and real answers. Appointments are starting points, not endpoints. Lab results are explained, not just delivered. Midlife transitions are treated as the real physiological changes they are.
“Women who understand their own bodies are harder to dismiss, make stronger decisions, and carry that knowledge everywhere, long after the appointment ends.”

Midlife Health Compass
A guided online assessment · Your results in minutes
Most symptom checklists ask you to guess what matters. The Midlife Health Compass was built differently: a validated set of questions across the areas that shape midlife health, scored to help you see your own patterns clearly and bring something concrete into your next appointment.
